Mt Buller supports local athletes

The annual OWI ‘Dine with an Olympian’ dinner has once again kicked off the ski season at Mt Buller, with more than $17,000 raised through ticket sales and the proceeds of the evening’s auction.

Compered by the Nine Network’s Stephen Phillips, the evening’ special guests were Mt Buller’s own Jacqui Cooper, Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin and Joh Shaw, all AIS/OWI scholarship holders.

Snowbasin crucial to success

It’s the jewel in the crown of US ski resorts, and it’s also particularly precious to the Australian Aerial Skiing Program the Flying Kangaroos. 

The Utah resort of Snowbasin has hosted the team for the past five years, providing unsurpassed terrain and warm and welcoming hospitality to the athletes who have skied there. [more]
